The Angelo is being discontinued. One 100cm unit remains in stock — the last Angelo that Luxair will produce. When it sells, this product, this mechanism, and this experience will not be available anywhere on the UK market again.
That matters because there is genuinely nothing else like the Angelo. No other island cooker hood sold in the UK has motorised wings. No other extractor opens at the press of a remote control, extending two illuminated side panels outward through a smooth motorised arc while the full LED array illuminates across the central body and both wing panels simultaneously. It was the only one when it launched. It remains the only one now. And once this last unit is sold, it will still be the only one — because it won't exist anymore.
What the Angelo does — for the last time
At rest, the Angelo sits above the island as a clean rectangular form, the panels closed, the LEDs off. Press the remote and the electronic arms extend, the wings rotate outward, and the lights come on. It takes seconds. The 1,000m³/hr motor — the most powerful in the Luxair island range — begins drawing air upward through the central extraction path. The motor runs equally with the wings open or closed, meaning full extraction performance is available whether you want the dramatic visual effect or the more compact profile. This is the last time you'll be able to buy this experience.
The specification — 100cm
The remaining unit is 100cm wide, available in Brushed Stainless Steel. The 100cm Angelo is suited to standard kitchen islands and hobs in the 70–90cm range, providing generous extraction coverage with the full wing span adding significant visual width when extended. The 1,000m³/hr motor supports duct runs up to 6 metres via minimum 6" (150mm) ducting, or the hood can be used in recirculation mode with charcoal filters where external ducting isn't possible. Full LED lighting throughout the central body and both side panels is included as standard. Heavy-duty metal grease filters capture up to 80% of airborne cooking grease and are dishwasher-safe.
Spare parts will remain available
After the Angelo sells through, Luxair will continue to supply spare parts, grease filters, charcoal filters, and remote control units for owners of all Angelo sizes. Long-term ownership remains well-supported even after the product itself is no longer available to purchase.
