Rectangular External Wall Vent — 220mm × 90mm and 150mm × 70mm Flat Ducting
This is the correct external wall vent for installations using 220mm × 90mm or 150mm × 70mm flat rectangular ducting. Designed and made exclusively for Luxair, it features a push-fit locking system and a built-in draught-proof non-return internal valve — preventing cold air, wind, and odours from entering through the duct when the extractor is not in use. Available in White, Terracotta, and Anthracite Grey.
Push-Fit Lock System
This vent uses the same patented push-fit system as the Luxair flat ducting range — connecting with an airtight seal and locking securely in place with no ducting tape, adhesive, or fixings required. It is designed to work as an integrated component of the Luxair flat ducting system rather than a generic add-on vent.
Non-Return Draught-Proof Valve
The internal non-return valve closes automatically when the extractor is switched off, sealing the duct outlet against reverse airflow, cold draughts, and wind pressure. The valve opens under extractor airflow pressure and requires no power or maintenance.
UV-Protected Plastic Construction
The vent body is manufactured from UV-protected plastic — resistant to fading, discolouration, and degradation from prolonged sun exposure on exterior wall surfaces. Available in three colours to complement a range of exterior wall finishes.
Ducting Size Guide
Selecting the correct ducting diameter for your motor output ensures maximum extraction performance:
- Below 450m³/hr → 100mm (4") ducting
- 450–750m³/hr → 125mm (5") or 150mm (6") ducting
- 750–2,000m³/hr → 150mm (6") or 200mm (8") ducting
