The Mille fills the gap. A 100cm × 50cm flush-fit ceiling extractor for kitchens that outgrow the standard sizes — A+ brushless motor, 780m³/hr extraction, and tunable LED lighting from warm 2950K to cool 6500K. Duct out or recirculate. Brushed Stainless Steel or White. Free 5-year warranty.

Mille Ceiling Cooker Hood — 100cm of Flush-Fit Extraction, Built for Kitchens That Don't Fit the Standard

There's a gap in the ceiling extractor market that the Mille was built to fill. Most ceiling hoods come in 60cm, 90cm, or 120cm — widths that match common hob sizes and standard joist spacings. But a growing number of kitchen designs use 100cm range cookers, wide induction hobs, or simply benefit from broader extraction coverage across an open island. For those kitchens, the Mille is the answer: a 100cm × 50cm ceiling cooker hood that installs completely flush, extracts powerfully, and disappears into the ceiling as though it was always part of the build.

Brushless motor, A+ rated, 780m³/hr

The Mille is available with your choice of two brushless motor configurations. The slimline radial motor fits directly between standard UK ceiling joists — the cleanest possible installation for kitchens where access to the ceiling void is available. The box-style motor is built for drop-box installations, giving the same powerful extraction where a joist-fit approach isn't an option. Both are A+ energy rated, both deliver up to 780m³/hr of airflow, and both can be connected to Luxair's optional remote motor kit to relocate the motor outside the kitchen zone entirely — reducing in-room noise to a minimum without compromising extraction performance.

Tunable LED lighting — warm to daylight, on demand

The Mille's LED lighting is adjustable across a full colour temperature spectrum from 2950 Kelvin (warm, candlelight-adjacent) to 6500 Kelvin (cool, clear daylight). Press and hold the light control on the remote to move between them in real time. In a kitchen with existing downlights, this means the Mille can be tuned to match exactly — no colour clash, no jarring temperature difference between the hood and the ceiling. It's a feature most buyers don't know to look for until they've experienced a hood that doesn't have it.

Ducted or recirculated — no ductwork, no problem

The Mille supports both external ducting and internal recirculation via charcoal filters (sold separately), making it equally suitable for kitchens where ducting to the outside is straightforward and for properties where it isn't — flats, listed buildings, or kitchens where the duct route would be too disruptive. When ducted, use 150mm round or 220mm × 90mm flat ducting for maximum extraction efficiency. Washable aluminium grease filters are included as standard and are dishwasher safe.

Two finishes. Suits traditional and modern alike.

The Mille is available in Brushed Stainless Steel and White — both finishes carrying the same clean flush-panel face that sits level with the ceiling surface. From the lifestyle imagery, the Mille works particularly well in country-style and traditional kitchens — navy cabinetry with brass hardware, green shaker-style units, and marble worktops — as well as in contemporary open-plan spaces. The 100cm width gives it a presence that narrower hoods can't match over a wide cooking area.

Home Visit & Installation Advice
Confused? Unsure? Let Us Help You Choose A Kitchen Extractor

Luxair Cooker Hoods now offer a site visit by one of our qualified in-house engineers, where they will advise on the best option regarding what cooker hood suits your kitchen needs, they can also advise on the best way to run your ducting or if re-circulation may be best for your setup.

An installation service is also available upon request and completion of a Site or home Survey. Prices will vary dependent on installation
required and will be quoted once an engineer has made his visit and all necessary observations are made in relation to your cooker hood
installation.

What you need to know:

Another important reason to consider a site survey is to identify the most suitable cooker hood for the location of your kitchen or bathroom.

We will look at the very best option, taking into consideration the size of your kitchen, if the ceiling construction is suitable for a ceiling cooker hood, any potential regulation requirements and above all the correct motor size and ducting route to give you the optimum extraction you require.

Your Site Survey:

During a site survey, your Luxair engineer will discuss your requirements, taking
into consideration the appropriate extraction output for the room, the relevant location within the kitchen and the most suitable
ducting system for your cooker hood. If the installation is new, the
site survey will identify the requirements for the ducting system,
ventilation and clearances to any combustible materials to maintain safe use. The site survey will allow your Luxair engineer to provide you with the best advice, consequently avoiding any unexpected expense.

Please Note: All site surveys will be booked in directly with the engineers, who will contact you within 1 - 7 working days of your payment being processed. Our engineers will call you to arrange a date and time that is convenient to you. Book Here
