The Celux sits flush in your ceiling and disappears — until you need it. A+ brushless motor, 780m³/hr extraction, and tunable LED lighting from warm amber at 2950K to clear daylight at 6500K. Ducted or recirculated. Slimline or box motor. Stainless Steel, Matt Black, or White. Your kitchen, precisely lit.
Celux Ceiling Cooker Hood — 90cm of Flush-Fit Performance, with Light You Can Actually Set
There's a detail on the Celux that most cooker hood brands wouldn't think to include — and it's one of the first things you'll notice once it's installed. The LED lighting isn't just dimmable. It's tunable, shifting across a full spectrum from warm candlelight at 2950 Kelvin right through to cool daylight at 6500 Kelvin. Press and hold the light button to move between them. That means your kitchen lighting doesn't have to fight with your extractor hood anymore. Match it to your downlights, your mood, or the time of day. It's a small thing that makes a significant difference in a room you spend real time in.
A+ rated extraction across 780m³/hr
The Celux runs on an A+ rated brushless motor delivering up to 780m³/hr of airflow — enough to clear steam, smoke, and cooking odours from even a busy kitchen island. The 90cm × 60cm footprint is sized to cover a wide hob or range cooker comfortably, and the unit installs completely flush with your ceiling for a seamless architectural finish.
Two motor configurations — one for every ceiling
One of the most practical decisions Luxair made with the Celux is offering two distinct motor types for the same hood body. The slimline brushless motor fits directly between standard UK ceiling joists, making it the cleanest possible installation for new builds and renovations where the ceiling void is accessible. The box-style brushless motor is built for drop-box installations — where a lowered section of ceiling creates the housing — giving you the same powerful extraction in kitchens where a joist-fit approach isn't possible. Both motors are brushless, both are A+ rated, and both can be relocated using Luxair's optional remote motor kit, positioning the motor in a loft, cupboard, or adjacent space for near-silent in-room operation.
Ducted out or recirculated — your kitchen, your rules
The Celux is one of the few ceiling hoods in its class that can run in either ducted or recirculation mode. If external ducting isn't possible — whether due to a flat, listed building, or landlord restrictions — simply fit the optional charcoal filter kit and the Celux will recirculate cleaned air back into the kitchen. The washable aluminium grease filters are dishwasher safe, making routine maintenance as low-effort as the rest of the installation.
Finished to stand out, or stand back
The Celux is available in Brushed Stainless Steel (grade 18/10), Black with a black glass door, and White — each with a clean panel face designed to sit flush and unnoticed, or to serve as a quiet centrepiece above a kitchen island. The remote control handles motor speed and light adjustment from anywhere in the room.
