The Soffitto is end of line. Luxair is discontinuing this model, and once the current stock sells through, it will not be reordered or replaced with an equivalent. If you've had the Soffitto on a shortlist, this is the last opportunity to buy one — at clearance pricing across all remaining sizes and finishes.

Spare parts, grease filters, charcoal filters, and remote controls will continue to be available after the product itself has sold out, so long-term ownership remains well-supported.

Why the Soffitto built its reputation

In a range full of strong ceiling extractors, the Soffitto earned its following for three reasons that no other model fully replicated. The 190mm installation height on the slimline motor version — the shallowest in the entire range, giving it access to ceiling voids that ruled out every other model. Third, the 14W dynamic LED surround with ten discrete Kelvin steps from 2950K to 6500K — the most granular lighting control of any hood in the range, with independent three-level brightness dimming on top.

Remaining stock spans four sizes — 90cm × 30cm, 90cm × 60cm, 120cm × 30cm, and 120cm × 60cm — in three finishes: Black gloss glass, White gloss glass, and Brushed Stainless Steel. Not all size and finish combinations will be available in every quantity. Check current stock on each variant before ordering, and contact the team if you need to confirm availability for a specific project.

A+ brushless motor, 780m³/hr

Every Soffitto runs on an A+ rated brushless motor delivering up to 780m³/hr of airflow, with duct-out or recirculation options. The optional remote motor kit — allowing the motor to be moved to a loft or cupboard for near-silent in-room operation — remains available while the hood is in stock.

If you're looking for the nearest alternative

The Caporra ceiling hood is the closest current model in the Luxair range — LED surround lighting, A++ brushless motor, four sizes from 90cm to 120cm, and the same slimline or box motor choice. It doesn't offer black glass, but it carries a 7-year warranty and an A++ motor rating. Worth comparing if the Soffitto size or colour you need is no longer available.

Luxair Cooker Hoods now offer a site visit by one of our qualified in-house engineers, where they will advise on the best option regarding what cooker hood suits your kitchen needs, they can also advise on the best way to run your ducting or if re-circulation may be best for your setup.

An installation service is also available upon request and completion of a Site or home Survey. Prices will vary dependent on installation
required and will be quoted once an engineer has made his visit and all necessary observations are made in relation to your cooker hood
installation.

What you need to know:

Another important reason to consider a site survey is to identify the most suitable cooker hood for the location of your kitchen or bathroom.

We will look at the very best option, taking into consideration the size of your kitchen, if the ceiling construction is suitable for a ceiling cooker hood, any potential regulation requirements and above all the correct motor size and ducting route to give you the optimum extraction you require.

Your Site Survey:

During a site survey, your Luxair engineer will discuss your requirements, taking
into consideration the appropriate extraction output for the room, the relevant location within the kitchen and the most suitable
ducting system for your cooker hood. If the installation is new, the
site survey will identify the requirements for the ducting system,
ventilation and clearances to any combustible materials to maintain safe use. The site survey will allow your Luxair engineer to provide you with the best advice, consequently avoiding any unexpected expense.
