Backdraft Shutter — How It Works
The backdraft shutter is built directly into the vent body and operates entirely by air pressure. When the extractor runs, airflow pressure pushes the shutter open. When the extractor switches off, the shutter closes automatically — sealing the duct outlet against reverse airflow, wind pressure, and draughts. No power, no wiring, and no maintenance required.
