Air-Tight Ducting System for Cooker Hoods

Luxair’s air-tight ducting system is designed for a secure, self-sealing fit, no ducting tape required at couplings. For flexible aluminium tubes, silencers, or flat PVC connections, ducting tape is necessary.

Using the correct ducting size is crucial for optimal extractor performance and safety. Avoid 100mm washer-dryer ducts they restrict airflow and can be hazardous.

Recommended Sizes:

Up to 450m³/hr: 100mm ducting

450–750m³/hr: 125mm or 150mm ducting (flat or round)

1350m³/hr To  2000m³/hr 150mm or 200mm ducting

Ceiling hoods: Minimum 150mm round or 220mm x 90mm flat channel
