The Lusso 90cm 5-zone has a mixed zone layout across its 90cm surface: three individual induction zones with dedicated slider controls, and two FlexZones — each of which automatically detects the size and position of whatever pan is placed on it and adapts its heating field accordingly, bridging internally when a large pan spans the full FlexZone. Up to five pans simultaneously, in any combination of sizes, without manual bridging or having to centre pans precisely on fixed circles.

The three individual zones provide straightforward, dedicated cooking positions — each with its own slider control and 10 power levels — suited to standard pots and pans where a fixed zone is all that's needed. The two FlexZones handle the larger pans, griddles, and anything that benefits from an adaptive heating field. Together, the five-zone layout covers every practical cooking scenario across the 90cm width at 11,100W total output with double boost on both FlexZones.

5-zone vs 6-zone — which 90cm to choose

Both 90cm Lusso models share the same smart feature set: Stop & Go pause mode, recall mode, programmable timer up to 999 minutes, keep warm at three heat settings for up to two hours, automatic pan detection, boost and double boost, child lock, overflow detection, and residual heat indicators. The 5-zone has 3 individual zones and 2 FlexZones. The 6-zone has a different zone configuration with more cooking positions. If you regularly cook with five pans or fewer and want the flexibility of FlexZone bridging on two of those positions, the 5-zone is the appropriate choice.
