Finding your serial number is easy.

Remove the metal grease filters from your extractor hood. On the inner underside of the main body, you will find a silver or white label showing your SKU and serial number (label type depends on the age of the appliance).

Your extractor will display one of the following — only one is required:

S/N (e.g. S/N 1234567)
Manufacture date (e.g. July 2006)
LOTTO number (e.g. LOTTO 1234567)

Cooker Hood PCB Switch Unit 2 — Timer Switch with Blue LED Indicators

This is the genuine Luxair replacement PCB switch unit with timer function and blue LED indicators for compatible wall and island cooker hoods. If your hood's controls have become unresponsive, damaged, or faulty, this switch unit restores full operation of fan speeds, timer, lighting, and power control.

Important Information - If you notice the light button flashing on this particular switch unit, this is due to over pressing of the buttons and is normal, it will happen after so many hours of use. Please follow the below reset instructions for this -

Ensure the motor/fan is not running on any speed.
Press the light button to turn the lights on.
Press the light button to turn the lights off.
Press and hold the light button down for 10seconds.

This will reset the flashing button for you!

Compatibility

Important — LED Lighting Required

If your existing hood uses halogen lighting, the halogen bulbs and transformer must be upgraded to a compatible LED light kit and driver before fitting this switch unit. Connecting this switch unit to a halogen transformer will damage the PCB. See the LED Light Conversion Kits page for the correct upgrade kit for your model.

Button Covers

Button covers are not included with this switch unit. In most cases, the existing button covers can be transferred directly from your current assembly. If replacement button covers are required, contact Luxair customer support.

Installation

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Disconnect the appliance from the mains before any work is carried out. This switch unit is a genuine Luxair part precision-engineered for the compatible models — use of non-genuine components alongside this part cannot be supported or guaranteed.

The fitting service is available in England and Wales; coverage is postcode-dependent and confirmed after ordering.
