220mm × 90mm Flexible Ducting Rubber Boot — Adjustable 30° to 90°
The 220mm × 90mm rubber ducting boot is the solution for installation scenarios where a standard rigid 45° or 90° elbow won't work. Where the duct run needs to navigate around a pipe, joist, cable, beam, or other obstruction in a tight ceiling void — and where the exact angle required isn't a standard 45° or 90° — this flexible rubber boot adjusts to any angle between 30° and 90° for a precise custom fit on site.
Where This Component Is Used
This boot is particularly suited to ceiling cooker hood installations where the slimline flat motor outlet needs to transition into the duct run in a restricted ceiling void with limited clearance. It also provides 10mm of lateral adjustment left or right — useful where the motor outlet and the duct run are not perfectly aligned, as is common with slimline motor housings in tight joist spaces where positional accuracy is difficult to achieve.
Why Rubber vs Rigid Plastic
Unlike rigid plastic elbow connectors, the rubber boot absorbs motor vibration at the connection point — preventing vibration noise from being transmitted through the duct into the ceiling structure. On ceiling extractor installations where the motor is within the ceiling void, this vibration isolation is a meaningful improvement in the quietness of the overall installation. Multiple boots can be combined along the same duct run for maximum flexibility throughout.
Fitting Note
The rubber boot uses a tight-fit female connection for a secure hold. Ducting tape is recommended at the connection points for additional security and to ensure an airtight seal — unlike the push-fit components in the System150 range, this boot relies on the tape to complete the seal.

- Below 450m³/hr → 100mm (4") ducting
- 450–750m³/hr → 125mm (5") or 150mm (6") ducting
- 750–2,000m³/hr → 150mm (6") or 200mm (8") ducting
