This is a silver-faced aluminium foil sealing tape for securing and sealing ducting joints, adapters, and ventilation connections. Supplied on a white paper liner, the tape is self-adhesive and applies directly to ducting surfaces to prevent air escaping at joints — maintaining full extraction power throughout the duct run.

Where This Tape Is Used

Use this tape to seal any ducting joint where an airtight connection is required — including joints between rigid pipe sections, around adapters and connectors, at wall outlets, and for repairs to existing ventilation ducting. Any air escaping at a joint directly reduces extraction performance at the hood, and sealing all joints is recommended for maximum efficiency regardless of the ducting system used.
