The Arcus 75cm venting hob replaces your cooker hood and adds 2 flexi bridge zones — merge adjacent induction zones for griddles, fish kettles, and large cookware. 800m³/hr brushless motor extracts at source from all four zones. No overhead hood required. Ducted or recirculating. Standard 900mm base unit installation.
Arcus 75cm Venting Induction Hob — No Hood. Bridge Zones. 800m³/hr Brushless at Source.
The Arcus 75cm does everything the 60cm does — replaces your cooker hood with an 800m³/hr brushless motor built into the hob, extracts at source from all four zones, installs into a standard base unit — and adds two flexi bridge zones. Those bridge zones are why this product exists separately.
A flexi bridge zone merges two adjacent induction zones into a single, larger heating surface. With two bridge zones on the 75cm, you can bridge the left pair of zones, the right pair, or both simultaneously. A griddle pan that spans the full width of the cooking surface. A fish kettle too long for a single zone. A large casserole that sits across the gap between two standard zones. A wok ring set-up that needs an extended field. Bridge zones turn a standard four-zone layout into something significantly more versatile for the way serious cooks actually use their hob.
Why 75cm — and why this size matters
Most venting hobs come in 60cm, 80cm, or 90cm. The 75cm fills the gap — wider than a 60cm for buyers who want more cooking surface or need the bridge zone functionality, but fitting into spaces where an 80cm isn't practical. For kitchens with a worktop run that gives more than 600mm of available width but not 800mm, the 75cm is often the correct answer that a 60cm or 80cm can't provide.
800m³/hr brushless downdraft — same extraction core as the 60cm
The extraction system is the same across the Arcus range: 800m³/hr brushless motor integrated into the hob body, drawing steam and cooking odours downwards through two central vents at the hob surface before they rise into the kitchen. Air is drawn as soon as the extractor is activated. The hob and extractor operate independently — use either without the other, or run the extractor after the hob is off to clear residual steam. A timer function allows the motor to power down automatically. Compatible with pans up to 220mm tall. Ducted externally via the 220mm × 90mm outlet (converts to 150mm round) or recirculated with charcoal carbon filters. Installs into a standard 900mm wide × 600mm deep base unit requiring no structural modifications beyond what a standard hob installation needs to support the size chosen.
