220mm × 90mm Flat Ducting Pipe Clips
These pipe clips are designed to secure 220mm × 90mm flat rectangular ducting to walls, ceilings, joists, and structural surfaces throughout a duct run. Each pack includes screws — please check that the fixings supplied are suitable for the surface type you are fixing to before installation.
Where These Clips Are Used
Suitable for use wherever the duct run needs to be fixed in place — including restricted spaces such as under floorboards, above ceilings, behind cavity walls, and within joist voids. Compliant with Part F of the Building Regulations for both domestic and commercial installations.
Important — Use Clips Either Side of Each Connector Joint
On longer duct runs of one metre or more, pipe clips must be fitted either side of each straight connector joint to prevent the ducting from sagging under its own weight. Sagging joints can break the airtight seal and reduce extraction performance throughout the run.
Ducting Size Guide
Selecting the correct ducting diameter for your motor output ensures maximum extraction performance:
- Below 450m³/hr → 100mm (4") ducting
- 450–750m³/hr → 125mm (5") or 150mm (6") ducting
- 750–2,000m³/hr → 150mm (6") or 200mm (8") ducting
The System150 6" Ducting Range
These clips are compatible with the Luxair System150 range — combining 220mm × 90mm flat rectangular ducting and 150mm round ducting, both carrying equivalent airflow rates and fully interchangeable within the system. The full range includes straight pipe sections, bends, elbows, connectors, adapters, and wall vents to complete any standard extraction installation.
