The Synergy is one of Luxair's most powerful ceiling extractor — 800m³/hr from an A++ brushless motor, with boost mode, 4000K LED strip lighting, and a simple clip-fit installation between standard UK joists. Flush or drop-box. Brushed Stainless Steel or White. 7-year warranty on registration.

Synergy Ceiling Cooker Hood — 800m³/hr, A++ Rated. The Most Powerful Ceiling Extractor in the Luxair Range.

Most ceiling cooker hoods ask you to choose between power and efficiency. A high extraction rate usually means a hungrier motor; a highly efficient motor usually means more modest airflow figures. The Synergy doesn't make that trade-off. It runs an A++ rated brushless motor — the highest energy efficiency classification available — while delivering 800m³/hr of extraction: the most powerful output of any ceiling hood in the Luxair range. If you're fitting out a large open-plan kitchen, a kitchen-diner where cooking odours travel freely, or a space with a long duct run that demands real motor headroom, the Synergy is the answer.

A++ at 800m³/hr — what that actually means

The A++ rating tells you about energy consumption relative to output. The brushless motor technology that makes it possible also brings meaningful noise reductions — up to 3dB(A) quieter than a conventional motor at the same extraction speed. In a kitchen where the hood runs daily during and after cooking, that combination of lower energy draw and quieter operation isn't just a spec sheet achievement; it's something you notice every time you cook. The three-speed fan with boost mode gives you full control from gentle background extraction through to maximum airflow when you need to clear a kitchen fast after a heavy cooking session.

4000K LED strip — designed for clarity, not flexibility

The Synergy uses a fixed 4000K LED strip rather than a tunable system. At 4000K you're in neutral white territory — bright enough for precision task lighting over the hob, cool enough not to look warm and amber against a modern kitchen's other light sources, warm enough not to feel clinical. It's a deliberate spec choice for kitchens where consistent, functional lighting matters more than mood-shifting capability. The dimmer function via remote gives you control over brightness, and the LED strip itself is energy-efficient, built to last, and easily dimmable down to ambient levels when you're not actively cooking.

Fits between joists. Or into a box. Rotates for any duct route.

The Synergy installs flush into the ceiling, sitting directly between standard UK joists with its simple clip system. For kitchens where the ceiling void isn't accessible from above, or where a drop-box build is the preferred approach, it works equally well in a lowered ceiling box. The motor rotates left to right to align with any ducting direction — 150mm round or 220mm × 90mm flat — removing the most common installation headache before it starts. The lifestyle images show the Synergy in both flush and drop-box configurations across a range of kitchen styles, from large modern kitchen-diners with feature pendant lighting through to boho-chic kitchens with neutral tones and wooden features.

Two finishes. One clear performance story.

The Synergy is available in Brushed Stainless Steel and White — both carrying the same A++ motor, the same 800m³/hr extraction, and the same clean slimline flush profile. Register within 31 days of installation for seven years of parts and labour warranty coverage, and access Luxair's home survey and professional installation service if you'd prefer expert hands for the ceiling work.

Home Visit & Installation Advice
Confused? Unsure? Let Us Help You Choose A Kitchen Extractor

Luxair Cooker Hoods now offer a site visit by one of our qualified in-house engineers, where they will advise on the best option regarding what cooker hood suits your kitchen needs, they can also advise on the best way to run your ducting or if re-circulation may be best for your setup.

An installation service is also available upon request and completion of a Site or home Survey. Prices will vary dependent on installation
required and will be quoted once an engineer has made his visit and all necessary observations are made in relation to your cooker hood
installation.

What you need to know:

Another important reason to consider a site survey is to identify the most suitable cooker hood for the location of your kitchen or bathroom.

We will look at the very best option, taking into consideration the size of your kitchen, if the ceiling construction is suitable for a ceiling cooker hood, any potential regulation requirements and above all the correct motor size and ducting route to give you the optimum extraction you require.

Your Site Survey:

During a site survey, your Luxair engineer will discuss your requirements, taking
into consideration the appropriate extraction output for the room, the relevant location within the kitchen and the most suitable
ducting system for your cooker hood. If the installation is new, the
site survey will identify the requirements for the ducting system,
ventilation and clearances to any combustible materials to maintain safe use. The site survey will allow your Luxair engineer to provide you with the best advice, consequently avoiding any unexpected expense.

Please Note: All site surveys will be booked in directly with the engineers, who will contact you within 1 - 7 working days of your payment being processed. Our engineers will call you to arrange a date and time that is convenient to you. Book Here

Ceiling Motor Types Explained

Box Style Ceiling Cooker Hood Motor

A box style motor is ideal for larger kitchens and stronger extraction needs. Its larger housing allows for high airflow and excellent performance.

• Powerful extraction

• Ideal for larger kitchens

• Great for longer duct runs

• Reliable heavy-duty performance

Slimline Radial Ceiling Cooker Hood Motor

A slimline radial motor is designed for tighter ceiling spaces where a lower profile is needed. It offers efficient airflow with a more compact design.

• Space-saving design

• Ideal for shallow ceiling voids

• Efficient and quieter operation

• Perfect for modern compact installations
