The ASCENTI angled wall mounted cooker hood delivers powerful, energy-efficient extraction in a sloping, space-saving format designed specifically for kitchens where headroom above the hob is limited — galley kitchens, compact open-plan layouts, period apartments, and any kitchen where a full upright chimney hood would feel imposing or impractical. Available in 60cm and 90cm in brushed stainless steel, it's powered by an A+ rated 780 m³/hr brushless motor with dynamic dimmable LED lighting, an Intensive Boost function, and a 30-minute auto-off timer.

Why Angled? The Practical Case for a Sloping Hood

A standard chimney cooker hood sits vertically above your hob — which works well in kitchens with generous ceiling height, but in a galley kitchen, compact apartment kitchen, or any space where the wall cabinet is close to the cooking surface, the vertical chimney can feel tight, restrict movement, and create a low clearance that causes the hood to run noisier at lower heights. An angled hood slopes away from the wall, positioning the extraction face lower at the front and higher at the back — giving you more headroom at the hob, easier access to rear burners, and a cleaner, more architectural profile that suits modern and period kitchens equally well.

780 m³/hr Brushless Motor — With 7-Minute Intensive Boost

The ASCENTI's A+ rated brushless motor delivers 680 m³/hr at rated speed 3 and 780 m³/hr unrestricted — significantly more than a standard 300 m³/hr wall-mounted hood. Three fan speeds handle everyday cooking quietly and efficiently. When you need maximum power fast — a high-heat sear, a fish dish, a heavy curry — the Intensive Boost mode runs the motor at full capacity for exactly 7 minutes, then automatically drops back to speed 3. No manual adjustment needed, no forgetting to turn it down. The 30-minute auto-off timer on speeds 1–3 means the hood clears residual cooking air after you've left the kitchen without you having to remember to switch it off.

14W Dynamic LED Surround — Adjustable from Warm to Daylight

Unlike hoods with fixed-colour LED spots, the ASCENTI features a 14W LED surround light that runs the width of the extraction face and adjusts colour temperature from 2950K warm white to 6500K cool daylight. To change the tone, hold the power and light button together, then use the fan speed buttons to dial up or down through the Kelvin range. Three dimmable brightness levels are cycled by holding the light button alone. Whether you want a warm ambient glow for evenings or crisp task lighting for prep, the ASCENTI delivers it from the same fitting.

Touch Controls — Simple, Clean, Easy to Wipe

The touch-sensitive control panel manages all functions from a single interface — fan speed, boost, timer, and LED lighting — without physical buttons that collect grease and grime. The stainless steel finish and touch panel work together to create a hood that's as easy to clean as it is to operate, which matters more than buyers expect over years of daily cooking.

60cm or 90cm — Sized for Your Hob and Wall Space

The 60cm ASCENTI is the right choice for standard UK hob widths and most galley or compact kitchen layouts. The 90cm provides broader coverage for larger hobs, wider cooking surfaces, or any kitchen where you want the hood to make a stronger visual statement on the wall. Both sizes deliver identical performance — the brushless motor, boost function, timer, and LED surround system are the same across the range. Install as a ducted wall-mounted extractor using 125mm or 150mm ducting, or as a recirculating hood with optional charcoal filters (sold separately). Backed by Luxair's 5 year warranty (subject to registration within 31 days) with next-day UK delivery available.

Energy Efficient Brushless Motor
Equipped with a robust 780 m³/hr brushless motor that delivers powerful airflow while reducing energy consumption and motor noise for a quieter cooking experience.

Touch Sensitive Controls with Boost Function
Features 3 fan speeds plus an Intensive Boost mode. Boost runs the motor at full speed for 7 minutes before automatically returning to speed 3 - perfect for handling strong odours or heavy cooking sessions efficiently.

Timer Function
Available on speeds 1–3. When activated, the hood will automatically power down after 30 minutes, promoting energy savings and hassle-free operation.

Dynamic Dimmable LED Lighting
Includes 2 x 2.2W LED lights with adjustable colour temperature ranging from warm 2950K to cool 6500K.

Adjust the lighting tone by pressing and holding the power + light button, then use speed buttons to increase/decrease the Kelvin level.

Hold the light button to cycle through 3 dimmable brightness settings for perfect ambient lighting.

Angled Space Saving Design
The angled format creates additional headroom and is especially useful in compact kitchens. It also provides a sleek, modern look that complements stainless steel appliances and contemporary interiors.

Design Insight:
Angled cooker hoods are not just stylish - they're practical. They allow for more space around the hob area and create a striking focal point in any kitchen.

Home Visit & Installation Advice
Confused? Unsure? Let Us Help You Choose A Kitchen Extractor

Luxair Cooker Hoods now offer a site visit by one of our qualified in-house engineers, where they will advise on the best option regarding what cooker hood suits your kitchen needs, they can also advise on the best way to run your ducting or if re-circulation may be best for your setup.

An installation service is also available upon request and completion of a Site or home Survey. Prices will vary dependent on installation required and will be quoted once an engineer has made his visit and all necessary observations are made in relation to your cooker hood installation.

What you need to know:

Another important reason to consider a site survey is to identify the most suitable cooker hood for the location of your kitchen or bathroom.

We will look at the very best option, taking into consideration the size of your kitchen, if the ceiling construction is suitable for a ceiling cooker hood, any potential regulation requirements and above all the correct motor size and ducting route to give you the optimum extraction you require.

Your Site Survey:

During a site survey, your Luxair engineer will discuss your requirements, taking into consideration the appropriate extraction output for the room, the relevant location within the kitchen and the most suitable ducting system for your cooker hood. If the installation is new, the site survey will identify the requirements for the ducting system, ventilation and clearances to any combustible materials to maintain safe use. The site survey will allow your Luxair engineer to provide you with the best advice, consequently avoiding any unexpected expense.

Please Note: All site surveys will be booked in directly with the engineers, who will contact you within 1 - 7 working days of your payment being processed. Our engineers will call you to arrange a date and time that is convenient to you. Book Here
