The Luxair Caporra wall mounted cooker hood is built for kitchens that refuse to compromise — where extraction power and design intent carry equal weight. Available in 90cm, 100cm, and 110cm widths and finished in matt black or brushed stainless steel, the Caporra brings Italian-inspired design thinking to one of the hardest-working appliances in your kitchen.
Performance & extraction
At its core is an A+ energy-rated 800]m³/hr motor — powerful enough to handle the most demanding cooking sessions while staying impressively quiet. Perimeter extraction across the full hood width, enhanced by the Venturi effect, draws smoke and steam into the filters before they spread across your kitchen. The result is up to 25% less noise than standard extraction designs, without sacrificing airflow. Dishwasher-safe metal grease filters capture up to 80% of grease, keeping maintenance simple.
Lighting & design
The Caporra's dimmable surround LED lighting shifts from warm, atmospheric tones to cooler task light — all adjusted through the flush black glass touch controls that sit seamlessly on the hood's face. Whether your kitchen is a minimal white canvas, an industrial loft space, or a period home with modern fittings, the Caporra sits in it without demanding attention — and earns it anyway.
Installation & ventilation
For optimal ducted performance, use 150mm (6") round ducting or 220mm x 90mm rectangular. 125mm (5") ducting is also compatible. No external duct route? The Caporra runs fully in recirculation mode with optional charcoal filters (sold separately) — making it suitable for flats, apartments, and period properties.

Frequently asked questions
What size cooker hood do I need for my hob?
Choose a hood at least as wide as your hob — ideally wider. For a 90cm hob, the Caporra 90cm is the minimum; the 100cm gives better capture across the full cooking zone. For range cookers 100cm and above, we recommend the 110cm.
Can the Caporra be used without external ducting?
Yes. The Caporra supports recirculation mode when fitted with compatible charcoal filters (sold separately). This is ideal for flats or kitchens where routing a duct externally isn't possible.
What ducting size does the Caporra use?
The optimal outlet size is 150mm (6") round or 220mm x 90mm rectangular. It is also compatible with 125mm (5") ducting if your installation requires it.
Does the Caporra come with a remote control?
A remote control is available as an optional add-on at the time of purchase. Select "Yes please" on this product page to include it with your order.
