The Luxair Delta curved glass extractor is our most accessible wall mounted cooker hood Not every kitchen needs a flagship extractor. Some kitchens need something reliable, well-made, and priced fairly — something that gets on with the job without fuss. That's exactly what the Luxair Delta delivers. , but it's built to the same standards of quality and backed by a 2-year warranty as every other hood in the range.

Available in matt black or brushed stainless steel, the Delta suits the widest range of kitchen styles of any hood we make. Its clean chimney profile works equally well in a classic white fitted kitchen, a simple rental property, a first home renovation, or a builder's finish where a hardworking, no-nonsense extractor is what the job calls for. Stainless steel complements chrome fittings and contemporary kitchens; matt black adds a sharper edge and suits darker or more modern schemes.

Performance & extraction

The Delta's 450m³/hr motor handles everyday cooking in small to medium kitchens with ease — clearing steam from a boiling pot, smoke from a pan, or odours from the grill quickly and without drama. Three push-button speed settings give you straightforward control: low for gentle background extraction, medium for everyday cooking, and high when things get serious. No complicated settings, no touch panels to accidentally activate — just three clearly labelled buttons that do exactly what they say.

Filtration & lighting

Washable aluminium mesh grease filters sit behind the hood's face, capturing airborne grease before it reaches the motor and ductwork. They're dishwasher-safe, so maintenance takes minutes rather than effort. A 3.4W LED bulb lights your hob cleanly and efficiently — bright enough for prep, long-lasting enough that you won't be replacing it any time soon.

Kitchen styles it suits

The Delta's classic chimney shape is one of the most versatile designs in kitchen extraction. In stainless steel it's at home in a modern fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, a contemporary shaker with chrome handles, or a simple white gloss kitchen where clean lines matter. In matt black it suits darker kitchens, industrial-style spaces with open shelving, or any scheme where black fittings and appliances tie the room together. Its compact 60cm width is a perfect match for a standard 60cm hob in a galley kitchen, a small apartment, a utility room, or anywhere space is at a premium.

Installation & ventilation

For ducted extraction, connect the Delta to 120mm round ducting for optimal airflow. Where external ducting isn't available, the Delta runs in recirculation mode with compatible square charcoal filters (sold separately — Number 7), making it suitable for flats, rented properties, and kitchens without an external duct route. If you're unsure which setup suits your kitchen, our team is on hand to advise — or book a Luxair home survey for in-person guidance.

Backed by Luxair's 2-year warranty (register online), fast UK despatch, and full UK-based customer support.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Delta suitable for a small kitchen or flat?
Yes — the 60cm width and 450m³/hr extraction make it ideal for small to medium kitchens, galley layouts, apartments, and rental properties where a compact, practical extractor is needed.

What is the difference between ducted and recirculating installation?
Ducted extraction vents cooking air directly outside via ductwork — this is the most effective method. Recirculation passes air through charcoal filters and returns cleaned air to the kitchen — suitable where external ducting isn't possible. The Delta supports both.

What charcoal filter does the Delta use?
The Delta is compatible with the Number 7 square charcoal filter, available separately on our filters page.

Can I install this myself?
Many customers install the Delta themselves with basic DIY skills. Full installation instructions are included and the manual is available to download above. If you'd prefer professional installation, book a Luxair home survey and our engineers can advise or carry out the installation for you.

Does the LED bulb need replacing?
The Delta includes a 3.4W ES LED bulb. LED bulbs have a long lifespan under normal use, but replacements are available through our spares and accessories section if needed.

Home Visit & Installation Advice
Confused? Unsure? Let Us Help You Choose A Kitchen Extractor

Luxair Cooker Hoods now offer a site visit by one of our qualified in-house engineers, where they will advise on the best option regarding what cooker hood suits your kitchen needs, they can also advise on the best way to run your ducting or if re-circulation may be best for your setup.

An installation service is also available upon request and completion of a Site or home Survey. Prices will vary dependent on installation required and will be quoted once an engineer has made his visit and all necessary observations are made in relation to your cooker hood installation.

What you need to know:

Another important reason to consider a site survey is to identify the most suitable cooker hood for the location of your kitchen or bathroom.

We will look at the very best option, taking into consideration the size of your kitchen, if the ceiling construction is suitable for a ceiling cooker hood, any potential regulation requirements and above all the correct motor size and ducting route to give you the optimum extraction you require.

Your Site Survey:

During a site survey, your Luxair engineer will discuss your requirements, taking into consideration the appropriate extraction output for the room, the relevant location within the kitchen and the most suitable ducting system for your cooker hood. If the installation is new, the site survey will identify the requirements for the ducting system, ventilation and clearances to any combustible materials to maintain safe use. The site survey will allow your Luxair engineer to provide you with the best advice, consequently avoiding any unexpected expense.

Please Note: All site surveys will be booked in directly with the engineers, who will contact you within 1 - 7 working days of your payment being processed. Our engineers will call you to arrange a date and time that is convenient to you. Book Here
