150mm Round to 220mm × 90mm Flat Ducting — Straight Connector
This adapter connects a 150mm round ducting pipe (or 150mm flexible aluminium tube) to a 220mm × 90mm flat rectangular ducting pipe on a straight run, without changing the direction of the duct. Unlike the 90° elbow version of this transition, this connector makes the format change in a straight line and can be used in either a vertical or horizontal position. It is part of the Luxair System150 6" push-fit airtight ducting range.
Where This Component Is Used
Use this connector wherever the duct run needs to transition between round and flat formats without changing direction — for example, where a 150mm round motor outlet on a cooker hood or ceiling extractor connects directly to a flat rectangular duct run continuing in the same direction, or where a flat section terminates into a round pipe to connect to a fan or wall outlet on a straight run. The connector works equally in vertical and horizontal orientations, making it suitable for transitions at any point in the duct run regardless of whether the duct is running up through a ceiling or along a wall.

- Below 450m³/hr → 100mm (4") ducting
- 450–750m³/hr → 125mm (5") or 150mm (6") ducting
- 750–2,000m³/hr → 150mm (6") or 200mm (8") ducting
