The Luxair 100mm x 60mm flat duct inline connector collar
...is a straight joiner that connects two lengths of 100mm x 60mm flat rectangular ducting pipe end-to-end, extending the run in the same direction without any change in height or angle. Also known as a straight connector, inline coupler, or duct joiner, it's needed in any 100mm x 60mm flat ducting installation where the run exceeds one metre — and in longer runs through cabinet tops, ceiling voids, and wall chases, you'll typically need several. Self-sealing push fit construction.
When You Need This Part
Every time one length of 100mm x 60mm flat duct ends and the run continues straight, you need a connector collar. In practice that means any installation requiring more than one metre of flat duct will need at least one, and runs of three or four metres will need two or three. It's also the correct part for repairing an existing flat ducting run — if a section has been cut, cracked, or damaged, slide the collar over both ends and the joint is sealed without tools, adhesive, or tape. Always order one or two more than you think you need before starting installation — running short mid-job means a wasted trip.
Self-Sealing Push Fit
The connector collar slides over the ends of two 100mm x 60mm flat duct lengths and forms an airtight push fit seal on contact. No sealant, or fixings are needed at any rigid-to-rigid joint, all rigid push fit joints throughout the run are fully self-sealing.

Is 100mm x 60mm the Right Size for Your Hood?
100mm x 60mm flat ducting is the equivalent airflow cross-section to 100mm round ducting and is correct for cooker hood motors rated below 450 m³/hr. For higher-rated motors use larger ducting throughout the entire run:
- Below 450 m³/hr → 100mm round or 100mm x 60mm flat ducting
- 450–750 m³/hr → 125mm or 150mm round, or 220mm x 90mm flat channel
- 750–2000 m³/hr → 150mm or 200mm round ducting
Luxair stocks inline connector collars across all flat and round ducting sizes — all available in the ducting section.
Flat Duct Straight Inline Connector — Joins Two Lengths End-to-End
Extends a 100mm x 60mm flat ducting run straight. Use wherever one pipe length ends and the run continues in the same direction.
Self-Sealing Push Fit
Airtight connection without ducting tape, sealant, or clips. Tape only required when connecting to flexible hose.
Suitable for Repair and Extension
Repairs cut or damaged flat duct sections and extends existing runs without tools or adhesive.
Fire Resistant Polymer Construction
Solid rigid fire-resistant polymer — safe for permanent concealed installation above cabinets and in ceiling voids.
Mould Resistant
Moisture and mould resistant — suitable for kitchen ventilation environments.
Recyclable Material
Made from recyclable polymer — suitable for responsible disposal at end of life.
Compatible With Full Luxair 100mm x 60mm Flat Range
Works with all Luxair 100mm x 60mm flat pipes, elbows, clips, and adaptor pieces.
Suitable For Hoods Rated Below 450 m³/hr
Equivalent airflow to 100mm round ducting. Higher-rated motors require larger ducting throughout.
